2016: Updated Bucket List

As usual, I'm going to start off by apologising for the lack of updates; Real Life stuff got in the way.

And also as usual, I'm going to completely gloss over the real life stuff (since I might post about it in a future blog post) and get on with what it says in the title. So this is the original list (the strikethroughs were already there, since when I wrote the list I deliberately included a few things I'd already done).

1. Travel more.
2. Say yes to more things.
3. Draw more. - WIP
4. Write more. - WIP
5. See family & friends, particularly the ones who are further away than others.
6. Go to a ceilidh.
7. Meet Neil Gaiman.
8. Write a book, not necessarily for publishing but just so I can say I've written one.
9. Learn Blender.
10. Walk more.
11. Spend more time outside.
12. Have an obscene amount of sex.
13. Learn an instrument.
14. Take a camera to more places.
15. Spend more time on original ideas.
16. Buy a 3D printer.
17. Actually keep a phone.
18. Go to a comic convention in costume.
19. Post a full animation onto Youtube.
20. Play Cards Against Humanity.
21. Stop making excuses and actually do things. - WIP
22. Cook more.
23. Remember that I am ill and there are times I can't do what other people can. But on the flip side, that is not my whole existence. Find the proper balance. - WIP
24. Be happier. - WIP
25. Spend more time offline - WIP
26. Learn to paint.
27. Go bungee jumping and sky diving.
28. Actually organise my DVDs properly.
29. Start the 3D printing business.
30. find a lovely girlfriend.

I am pleased to note that I have, in fact, accomplished a few more things off that list. A few more are now WIPs, so I'll note those next to it. New completed ones are struck through and bolded. The WIPs have WIP written next to them. 5 is bold now but not struck through because I have done this, I've seen a lot of family and friends this past year, but I don't want to give up on this one.

And now, some more items for the bucket list:

31. Don't use Dad as an excuse not to do things.
32. Stop worrying as much about money.
33. Don't be as annoyed by people when they don't want you to help/do things. They know that you push yourself too hard sometimes.
34. Dance more - it's fun!
35. Get out of routines. They're safe but not necessarily fun
36. Remember to rest. You might hate it but it's good for you.
37. Be more creative.
38. Read less Star Trek, read more not Star Trek.
39. Try and eat better.
40. Think more before you resort to sarcasm - it's not always funny to everyone.

And that's it. That's my updated bucket list.

Without a big hoo-ha, I've disabled my OK Cupid account.

Just disabled, mind, not deleted. I am probably not done with online dating, I'm just taking a break from it. Unless something miraculous happens and I meet someone in the real world without the aid of the internet, I'm fairly certain that online is my best chance of meeting someone.

But at the moment, I'm tired. And I need a break.

So I've disabled my account, while I clear my head of some things, sort some other things out and generally get myself in order. Just some stuff like that.

Minor turning point

It's been a stressful few weeks for me. Things feel like they are getting out of control for me. I can't find a job. I'm losing my temper over little things and it's been effecting my ability to write, which is my escape valve.

I write to escape into a World of my own and when I can't, it makes things worse. I don't post my work because most of what I write are scripts I want to animate. The downside to not being able to write is that it stresses me out more, which means I can't write. As a very wise friend of mine said, it is a vicious cycle. Dad, as usual, wasn't helping matters.

And I went to be, but I couldn't sleep. The only things I seemed to have control of is when I wake up and when I go to sleep. I needed something else.

So I deleted my Myspace account.

Trivial, I know. I haven't used it since I jumped over to Facebook in 2007. In fact, I could barely remember the password. The email was an account I closed two years ago. It was a minor miracle that I could still access it.

But it was something I had control over, and closing it eased a tiny bit of my stress. Not much, mind, but a bit of a weight was lifted. It was enough for me to call it a victory.

2012 updates

Right, it's coming up on Christmas, so I thought I would do a blog to update you all on wonderful "old" me. Here it is, so enjoy.

First off, health updates. Since being put on a new medication who's name alludes me, I've had a lot less migraines (save for a couple last week). This makes me happy, since it means that I've spent a lot less time in pain and more time running around the Internet, looking for adventure and amusing sites - also, LOLcats.

In other health news, I was due to go to the hospital for my annual check-up on the 10th. Unfortunately, Snow prevented this. We got as far as the Eldwick Moors near where I leave before Dad decided to turn around and, after a brief stop at Burger King, we went home instead. Fortunately, I'd not developed any new symptoms, and the appointment was put off until January. Should be interesting, to say the least.

On the Job front, I attended a Recruitment pitch for Call Centre work. I had been told it was an interview, but it wasn't. It also turned out to be commission based work, which is not something I'm looking for. Ultimately, they didn't call me back so it didn't matter, but I would've have taken the job had I been offered. So I've decied to cease continue looking until the New Year.

My birthday came as well. It was a very good birthday. As was traditional, I went up to Scotland the weekend before hand, and enjoyed Scottish banter, food and drinks (even if I was overcharged for the drinks part of that equation). My birthday night out was spent in Bradford, followed by a hasty return to Alex's house. I woke up feeling a little bit rough to say the least. Fortunately, by around 2pm, I had improved enough to enjoy food and Doctor Who dvds.

That's really about all with this update. Return to your regular lives and I will probably update at some point in the New Year. Enjoy yourselves,.

Today's the day...

Okay, so Underground Toys is supposed to be announced their SDCC Doctor Who Exclusive today. And I am excited! Why? Because there's been a draught of Doctor Who figures recently. Apparently the BBC has asked UT and CO to hold off on until the new series of Who starts.

So it's been a fair while since a new figure was announced.

However, Keith from WhoNA has stated that we will be disappointed with the new announcement. It apparently won't be a new Doctor or a Companion. Hopefully, this won't be a case of 'The Time Monster'. Also there is no word on a Classic exclusive.

Although, I do think that they will be showing some new sets off at the Convention, similar to what they did with Leela last year.

However, I refuse to be completely disappointed until I see the actual announcement.

So Say We All

UPDATE: because of a miscommunication between WhoNA and Underground Toys, the announcements were solely for retailers and stores. However it was apparently leaked on another forum. But I'm not going to tell you in case this person is wrong :P

Things have been quiet on the Blog front.

Things have been fairly quiet on this blog recently, and that is my fault.

Sorry.

Basically, my life suddenly turned active! Surprised?! I was too. It all started with a last minute run up to Scotland to spend time with one of my best friends on her Birthday. Initially I was supposed to go up from the Tuesday to the Sunday, but I was having fun and it was an open ended ticket so I stayed a couple more days. I'll tell you about that some other time.

So I got back from Scotland, spent about a minute at home, and then rushed off to Chesire to Gransit. My Gran, you see, lives with my Aunt & Uncle because she can't really manage by herself (You know, because she's old). Elaine & Paul went off for a holiday, so I nobly volunteered myself to stay with her until they get back. (Actually Dad volunteered me.) I'm still here (HELLO CHESIRE) and will be until around the 26th/27th.

But enough about that. Time for an update on a project of mine.

A long, long, long, LONG time ago (here actually), I mentioned I was planning on doing a Stop Motion Dr Who Series. WELL since then, a lot of fun things happened. I've spent some time running between hospitals, collecting figures, jetsetting around the United Kingdom and generally not doing things I've been telling myself to do.

That has changed however.

I got Dad involved. We have a workspace now! I have a really big desk. All my figures are in one place. I have a camera and a tripod and LIGHTING! It's exciting! I've never had lighting before. Soon there shall be power, and with power comes PRINTERS! Once Dad and I have figured out how to make the models from here, that's it. We're starting.

For the time being, I'm sticking with stories focused around an alternate reality (parallel universe, alternate Universe - whatever you want to call it)Tenth Doctor and Sarah Jane.  I'm planning some stuff based on the Thirteenth Doctor and there will be the odd Classic story as well. I'm planning on doing 8 two part story, each one of which will last roughly ten minutes in total. There are plans in place for specials, such as one to start off the Series.

So there you go. Expect an announcement video soon.

So Say We all.

The Silent Treatment

So today has been mostly good. First of all, I accidentally slept in and thus, was half an hour later meeting a friend for lunch (Sorry again). Luckily for me, she was still there and also still willing to socialise with me despite this, and we had a good meal with much laughter and a bit of gossiping about mutual acquantinces.

Since coming home, I've been on the laptop, scripting an episode of Doctor Who involvnig Daleks and Sontarans, and watching Babylon 5 with a mostly conscious father. We're coming up on the end of Series 3, and the Shadow War is in FULL SWING.

However, I'm concerned about one of my best friends. As usual, I opened an IM window to chat with her (she lives in America) and since then, she has been very out of character for her. She has insisted everything is fine, but I don't believe her. She's nowhere near as chatty as usual. I've asked her what's wrong, and she replied with a one word answer of "nothing".

Something is up with her, I know. I want to know what it is because I want to help her or apologise if its something I've done. I just don't know how to confront this. Usually, she'll tell me if something's wrong, but tonight, getting her to reply has been like getting blood from a stone.

I just don't know what to do.

Health Update: Today, just felt tired. Weird, considering I actually got a full 8 hours of sleep last night.

Until next time, loyal readers.

06/01/2011 Update: As it turned out, it wasn't something I had done that caused the silent treatment. It was a story she had written that had majorly unsettled her. We got to talking like we usually do by the end of the evening. I'm happy to report she's alright now!

2011 - a brief sum up

What? Three updates in one Day? Are you feeling alright, I hear you asking. I am, apart from the dying dregs of a cold and a tiny bit of insomnia. I just felt like summing up 2011, get rid of some emotional baggage and boring you once more (plus it's past midnight and thus, a new day technically).

So how was my 2011?

In truth, on the whole, it wasn't too bad. As with any of the other twenty two years of my existence, there were obviously good bits and bad bits. For the good, I made some new friends and saw old ones. I went up to Scotland a couple of times to hang out with mates up there and I bought way more Doctor Who Figures than I should've. For the bad, I spent three weeks Gransitting, missing several events I was looking to and got stiffed for it, and the girl I like entered a relationship with someone else. Like I said ups and downs.

I also spent WAY too much in Hospitals this year for various reasons. More then any other time of my life, if I'm not mistaken (and even if I was, I'm not likely to admit that.) One of the perks of having a rare condition doctors don't fully understand, I suppose.

My birthday, as usual, was a highlight. Like the year before, I had two celebrations: One up in Scotland with my friends up there and one down in England with some of the others. Much booze was consumed on the second event but both were exceptional fun.

Also, 2011 is the last year I'll be drinking. From here on out, beyond a glass of champhange at weddings, I will be completely teetotal. This is due to several incidents of the alcohol reacting badly with my tablets.

Goodbye, 2011. We had the best of times, and the worst of times.

2012

Happy New Year, people.

I'm planning on blogging more often, and as you may have noticed, I've updated the blog a little to accomadate this (somehow.) Basically, I've juggled around my sidebars, added a Starfleet logo to the top of the screen, and given the whole thing a minor overhaul. I've also decided to start writing in italics all the times, since I think it looks a lot more like my own handwriting.

That, along with learning to drive, is my New Year's Resolution. Also, stop just writing my scripts and doing mock ups and ACTUALLY make some of these Doctor Who Episodes I've planned. And to be happier in general (the hardest of the four, if you ask me.)

That is quite literally all I wanted to say. Please go back to your regularly scheduled lives.

No, I mean it. Go away.

The Failure Incident

Remember when I said I was going to chronicle my struggles through my meat free Lent?

Turns out, I failed. I was planning on picking up the next day, but ultimately decided against it because, frankly, who cares? I also realized I'm too important (AKA lazy) to post updates every day. I also forget the rest of the World actually exists from time to time. And finally, let's be honest, who actually reads this blog regularly? (Don't actually answer that. Your Honesty will probably make me cry)

I'll post updates at the end of each blog entry, but they won't be the main point of any of them (mainly because I realized the five of you who regularly read my blog don't care about my food intake). Therefore, I'll update you a little on my goings on.

Except I have nothing besides Lent to update you with this time around. So contray to what I just said, I'll tell you about it. I've lost yet more weight (now down to virtually 10 stone exactly). Since I've always been tall and slender, I'm not worried about it. Ultimately, if it becomes an issue, I will give up my Lent-meat withdrawl and overload on Meat. To help counter this, I've restored Fish to my diet (That and it was the only appetiting vegetarian dish at the Sainsburys I was in).

But in completely unrelated news, I got a tiny chunk of apple stuck between my teeth. It was there for about ten minutes, until I successfully defeated it with a combination of my tongue and right thumb.

That's all. Go away please.

Live Long and Prosper.

Lent day 3

Well, True Believers, today was a real challenge for me.

I went out for lunch with an old friend. Normally, this means a trip to our local co-op where we stock up on Junk and then head to the moors where we consume the food and have a good natter. However, today we changed our normal habit and went to Greggs.

For the first time, I was surrounded by Meat...and I was absolutely ready to punch through the plastic windows and eat everything I saw. However, I was able to contain myself, and bought an Egg Mayo Sandwich and a bag of Steak & Ale Crisps (the second of the four flavours introduced for Red Nose Day I've tried). We then went up to a nearby park, were we ran into my cousin, her boyfriend and their wee baby, as well as her sister's little boy. This little coincedence saw me waste the majority of my energy and I enjoyed a small nap before Dinner.

Dinner consisted of Vegetarian Spring Rolls. I actually enjoyed them!

Well, anyway. I've got a mate's Birthday Night out to enjoy. I'll be sober for the night, and I intend to enjoy many hours of laughing at my drunk mates, including the Birthday Girl herself! No photos though. I promised.

Lent: Day Two

Apparently, I'm going to chronicle my journey of being a Vegetarian. Why? Because it makes me happy? Maybe. Because it gives me something to definately write about? Likely. Because I can? Yeah, let's go with "Because I can.

Anyway, Day Two was a bit tricker then Day One. I almost made myself a Pate Sandwich before I remembered that Pate is Meat. Fortunately, I'd only gotten it out of the fridge and not spread any, so I gave up on the sandwich and instead had a cup of tea (That is my substitue for Food more often then not). Tonight, Dad and I enjoyed Pancakes (We rebelled on Tuesday and had Hot Dogs). Dad covered his with sugar, and I enjoyed Golden Syrup on mine.

I expect by about Day Ten, I'll be craving Meat...

Lent: Day One

Lent is a Christian Tradition. It is to commentorate the 40 days and nights that Jesus spent in the desert, being repeatedly tempted by the Devil. Typically, people practice Lent in the 40 Days leading up to Good Friday and then Easter.

The idea of Lent is that a person gives up something that is dear to them. For example, some people give up Chocolate. My Brother has given up Caffeine, and my Dad has given up smoking (hopefully not just for Lent). Me, I gave up Meat. For the next 40 or so days, I shall be enjoying a delicious vegetarian diet.

Why Meat?

Simple. Normally, I'd give up Cheese. Cheese is one of the few things in Life I can't live without, and I was gearing up to do the same this year. Then I realized something. For some reason, I've been eating nearly as much cheese as I usually do. I didn't feel it was a noble enough sacrifice this year, so I briefly considered Sarcasm. However, my brother is (to put it politely) somewhat of an easy target and it'd be a repeat of Chandlier giving it up for a week.

So what else could I give up? Dr Pepper? Again, while I regularly enjoy its so-called 27 flavoured goodness, I don't actually drink it often enough to miss it for 40 days. Doctor Who? Are you insane?! Not a chance in Hell! Simon suggested Tea, and was rewarded with the very sarcasm I nearly gave up. So that left...Meator the Internet. Since I love the Internet too much to give it up for 40 days, that left Meat. Some family members (and most of my friends in the know) objected, since it probably would mean some weight loss at a time when I can ill afford to. But it is Meat or nothing...

So Meat it is.

Today has gone well. I enjoyed Welsh Rarebit (Posh way of saying Cheese on Toast) for my main meal. Half a day down, 39 and a half to go.

To paraphrase Carla's song from the Scrubs episode My Musical....It's gonna be a long, long Lent.

A miracle

Today, a true miracle happened.

The plumber ACTUALLY came today and replaced our boiler. That might not seem like a great big to you all, but we have been fighting for this guy to come since January. Honest to God, it was a FIGHT. We were ringing him left, right and centre and he would assure us that he would be here on such and such a date. Then of course, he'd never turn up, leaving me & my brother (though more me) to deal with a very aggravated parent who wanted nothing more then to kill the bastard.

And you know what? He actually came today. The Boiler's been fixed and turning on hot water won't actually turn off our heating! Our house is once more returning to its version of normalcy.

Do you know how we did it? Let me tell you how we did it because, let's be honest, its a fun story. It was a marvellous idea that Dad suddenly clicked to! He rang the Plumber and mentioned "Small Claims Court" and do you know what? The Plumber said he'd be here today and he ACTUALLY came! (Less emphasis but still).

Granted, I'd have prefered it if he had come a little later in the day so I could've enjoyed the hour and half uninterrupted sleep I enjoyed alongside the interrupted sleep inflicted upon me during the Night, but still. It's done!

Doctor Who Figure Adventures - coming soon to Youtube

I have what can charitably be refered to as "a lot" of free time on my hands.
In fact, due to illness, I have been forced to leave my Uni course and therefore, all 24 hours of my day are mine to do with as I wish (though at least 6 are reserved for attempt to sleep).
Therefore, I've decided to attempt to fill my Day with a new hobby! Yeah me! New Hobby!
Except it won't be a new hobby. It will, in fact, be the continuation of an old hobby! Yay! Old Hobby! Those lucky few who actually know me are aware of this Hobby, since I've probably shown you my work already. It is Stop Motion. Doctor Who themed Stop Motion, in fact. Using my army of action figures, I've made them act out scenes I've written. I've achieved this by moving a figure slightly, taking a photo, moving it slightly again, taking a photo and so on. It's the same method Nick Park used to create the highly successfully Wallace and Gromit

Wooo! Nick Park! ...my hair's nicer then his!
Anyway! To expand on my hobby (and test it), I wish to make a Stop Motion Series for Youtube, like a few others have done. It will be a true test, both of my skills as a Stop Motion person (I believe the Term is animator) and as a writer, since I will be penning most, if not all, of my scripts (In fact, a fair few have already been scripted at least in part). Basically, I'm going to become a combi-lution (mixture of combination and Poke'mon style evolution) Of Nick Park (pictured above) and the brilliant Steven Moffat!

Guess which one is Steven Moffat

Anyway, the first mini-episode will up on Youtube soon, a new blog detailing it's creation will be made, and then, the series will begin proper. I hope you enjoy it. And in the mean time, enjoy this Promo-Shot (taken back in the flat - just to let you know how long I've been planning this LOL):

DOCTOR WHO:
THE CHRISTMAS FEAST

Friday, 31 December 2010

No pictures today

And trust me, loyal readers, that's a good thing! Did you all have a good christmas? Remember, before answering, I am merely a collection of words and cannot hear your reply. Leave a comment if you did (or didn't) and I'll be sure to ignore it.
I paradoxically did and didn't! I had a Cold (Still do) and my Sleep Cycle is playing.
Well, that's a lie. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Let me go on about it...IN DETAIL!
Our story begins on Christmas Eve, where my clan (plus Oma - Remember Oma? She was mentioned before - look for her name, comment it to me and you'll win a prize) went over to my Aunt Sophia's and my absolutely horrible Uncle Dave's house. This man is responsibile for my absolute hatred of Scotland and her mighty Highland (and Lowland) people.
Anyway, with a civil tongue (and the promise of a Tenner), we entered and waited the arrival of my Uncle Andre, Aunt Fiona and Cousin Edwin. Edwin's nice enough (the more tolerable of the two) but is still an idiot. He seems to enjoy attempting to goard me and my brother into fighting. (At my Aunt's wedding, he successfully convinced me to pour Shampoo into my Brother's soup). Anyway, tonight was no different, and as usual (Simon was enjoying his soup, and punched me) I ignored him. We played Party Games and then sat down to a delicious Christmas Buffet. I ate merrily, little knowing it would be the last thing I would be able to keep down. (Starting to see the reason for no Pictures?)
Anyway, We exchanged gifts (I got money sneaked into my Pocket by Fiona and some Classic Who DVDs from Dad) and finally parted.
The next day, Christmas Day.
In the morning (actually around 12), me, Dad and Simon exchanged gifts. I gave Dad the complete Murdoch Mysteries and Simon NCIS Season 6. In return, I recieved lots of Classic Who DVD (and more money from Dad). One interesting Side note. As has become our tradition, there were absolutely NO decorations up. We used to put them everywhere! And I mean EVERYWHERE! Sometimes, even me and Simon got decorated! However, it was always Mum who was the head of the Christmas Decoration and since her passing, we have been unable to do so with the same vigor. Last year, we managed a Tree with a single row of Lights. Next time, we're aiming for the Tree and the Navitity (complete with three new additions from Me and Simon - Tradition.)
Anyway, we were all done opening presents (Oma also bought a TARDIS mug :D) and were watching our various Gifts ( First of the Murdoch Mysteries Specials) when Dad decided we were to headed over to my Aunt Fay's.
I should point out. Fay isn't actually our Aunt. She's Aunt Fiona's (Who's married to my Uncle Andre, Dad's brother) Sister, but we've been so involved in each other lives (especially just recently), she might as well be.
Much fun was had there. Jeremy (Rebecca - Fay's Oldest - boy) was giving death glances to his Great Grandmother (Fay's Ex-Mother in Law and my Old Maths teacher) while watching Toy Story 3. The Diet Coke was completely frozen, and Fay, Fiona and Rebecca were all in the kitchen, refusing help. I was sat next to Terry (Fay's ex Father in Law and my Gran's old Gardiner) chatting with him about articles he was writing between coughing fits.
Dinner came, and that was good! Everything was cooked absolutely perfectly and we all had fun pulling crackers (I got a Puzzle!) and telling the horrendous jokes contained within. Edwin and Jolin (my steroid junkie cousin) were on their best behaviour (mainly because Rebecca and Megan - Fay's youngest - would've kill them otherwise). I tolerated Andre's conversational drivel with my usual good graces (IE I ignored him) and listened instead of Hana (Fay's middle child) and Joe (Her boyfriend) talking about Coby (her son) and their plans to move in the New Year.
Afterwards, we retired to the Longue (or in young Jeremy's case, bed) for a while before we headed home.
I was excited!
Tomorrow was Boxing Day, the BEST DAY of the Gren year! We basically ignore the entire World (Oma is welcome - that is all), pile up food and have a DVDfest lasting the entire day. It is my favourite part of the Christmas Season, and pretty much the only day of the year you can confirm I'll have more then one meal.
So of course, at 03:3-something in the morning, I threw up. AND LET ME TELL YOU! Christmas Dinner does NOT taste ANYWHERE near as Nice coming back UP!
I was GUTTED...literally LOL
Over the course of the day, I continued throwing up. I couldn't even keep water down. So instead of enjoying Boxing Day in all its glory, I had a migraine, and spent much of it trying to sleep on Dad's awesome bed while Simon and Dad stuffed their faces and enjoyed their DVDs.
Yesterday, almost a week later, I managed to stomach Dry Toast. Today, I managed my first meal (Steak and Chips). Today, I am officially over the Stomach Bug, but still battling the Cold.
This has ruined my New Year's Eve's Plans. Normally, I go over to my mate Jeremy and his Family for three days (the 30th, the 31st and the 1st) for some truly amazing food with him and their friends Jan and his Wife (her name escapes me). However, Jeremy and his Dad both catch colds easily, and suffer horribly with them. Therefore, I am remaining at Home, and probably going to go to Bed at 10.
Well, a shite end to a reasonable Year! Roll on 2011!

I love my Oma!

I love my Oma! She's my Gran, but because she's German, we call her Oma. But that's beside the point!
when I moved out of my flat, I couldn't fit all my stuff into my room (insert irony here) so I asked if she'd look after some of my stuff for me. She agreed, and much love was felt by me.
Anyway, one of those boxes contained both my scarves. One is ordinary but nice because it keeps me warm, but the other one is truly amazing.
Well, with Britain's recent cold snap, I realized I could really do with, well, either of them, so I asked Oma if she'd look for one of them for me. But she didn't.
She looked for and found both. She packed them into a bag, along with one of my games, a comic book my 'good' tie (I got it free with a shirt, but I've not told her that), and a T-Shirt I forgot I owned. But the point of this entry is...the none ordinary scarf. It's a replica of one of the ones Tom Baker wore during his time as the Doctor!
it's fourteen foot long and is very warm. In other words, it's PERFECT for this weather and, when combined with my military coat (which a nice drunk lady offered to buy off me last night so she could sell it on eBay) and my crutches, makes me look rather...ecclectic! Unfortunately, people who know me expect me to look ecclectic (one of my lecturers at Uni once said "On anyone else, that scarf would look ridiculous, but that I could pull it off) so it's lost a bit of impact, but its still warm and lovely!

Learning from Tom Baker, I mostly store excess length of the scarf in my pocket with my wallet, mobile, iPod and sonic screwdriver. Thank You, Paul Parkes, for buying the scarf for me (i don't have an eBay account, so I bullied him into buying it for me - But I feel I must point out I paid for it)

Live Long and Prosper.

Announcement Time!

Right, first off! An origin story!

I love Doctor Who!

I also love Music!

So naturally, I also love the Doctor Who Soundtracks. Well, late one night (or early one morning) I was downloading (LEGALLY FROM AMAZON! I PAID AND EVERYTHING!) the Series 5 Soundtrack. Because it comes through one song at a time, I was listening to ones which had downloaded. Well, the song Fish Custard came on, and I suddenly realized something!

As I mentioned before, I love Doctor Who!

For those of you who WEREN'T paying attentiong earlier

But I love Fish Fingers...

And Custard.

So why not COMBINE THEM and actually try Fish Custard.
AND because that's not enough for me, I thought, why don't I film it and put it on Youtube! Well, in two weeks, I'd headed up to Scotland with my mate Jeremy (Remember him? He's the one throttling me in a previous entry) to stay with a mutual friend, Kerri. She has already agreed to make me Fish Custard AND to film it, so all you pretty people out there will be able to enjoy me as I (hopefully) eat Fish Custard.

ALSO!
Unlike Charlieissocool, I will NOT stop if (probably when) it gets disgusting. I will eat ALL the Fish Fingers I am given.

The scene that inspired this little quirk. Ironically, THOSE are NOT fish fingers. He actually ate breaded cakes. LIAR!
